“Despite what you hear about the demise of radio, it’s a vital part of our mediascape and just as … music websites can do stuff that a terrestrial radio station can’t do, there are things that terrestrial stations are well suited for,” he said. “It demands a certain kind of listening, you know. You have to be a little more patient, and you have to give up a little bit of control.”
