KFJC to broadcast Liverpool International Festival of Psychedelia
Award-winning, student and volunteer-run Foothill College radio station KFJC 89. 7 FM is excited to be traveling to the United Kingdom in order to broadcast live from the Liverpool International Festival of Psychedelia. The two-day festival, which will take place at Liverpool’s Camp & Furnace/Blade Factory complex (a collection of warehouses and a former industrial furnace), will feature a range of performances by neo-psychedelic artists from all over the world.
KFJC will be presenting live audio and video streaming of selected bands from all three stages of this year’s festival, using the latest in remote broadcast technology. Live sets from Liverpool will be broadcast to listeners in the United States over KFJC 89.7 FM in the San Francisco Bay Area and to a global audience via the Internet.
The Liverpool International Festival of Psychedelia will air over KFJC 89.7 FM on Friday, Sept. 26 (tentatively from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Pacific Time) and Saturday, Sept. 27 (tentatively from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. Pacific Time).
