Exciting Fall Convention is Coming Together!
Last Updated on August 11, 2011 by askcbiorg
The CBI portion of the annual fall National College Media Convention is coming together and we are excited about the number, quality and diversity of sessions we are able to provide our current and future members! Whether your station is Radio or TV, FCC licensed, webcast or unlicensed, you will find educational and fun sessions that will provide you with information you can put to use immediately when you return to campus!
You will hear from well known names in the industry and your peers in over 80 sessions and events over three days in sunny Orlando this October. The convention will be at the Renaissance hotel, right across the street from SeaWorld and convenient transportation to other area attractions. Registration will open soon, so stay tuned for details.
More information about the convention is available here. To keep up-to-date on convention happenings, issues of importance to college stations or to ask a question, join the CBI email list(s), follow us on Twitter or FB!
The convention will be held October 26 – 30 and will feature the CBI National Student Production Awards Program on Friday afternoon. If you haven’t been to a CBI convention before, this would be a great convention to learn about CBI and our convention friends, CMA and ACP. There will be plenty of planned (and unplanned) opportunities to meet with peers and discuss issues informally.
