The CBI fall convention has now officially exceeded the hotel commitment for rooms at the re-negotiated discounted rate of $139 per night which include wireless Internet access in rooms. HOWEVER, the hotel has agreed to extend the discounted rate until the hotel comes close to reaching capacity. Frankly, this event is turning out to be much bigger and better than I had hoped for when CBI decided to breakaway and do its own convention. With that in mind, in order to continue making this an event that is important to you, we need to hear from you now and more importantly during and after the convention in order to make it better for next year.
To answer common questions.
Should your station plan to save some money to attend a Spring CBI event or send everyone to this event?
No. At this time, there are no plans for a spring event. That could change if there is enough support and/or CBI partners with another organization. CBI is talking with others who have contacted us about such an event, but the immediate plans do not include a spring event.
When does the conference start and end?
Registration will start on Wednesday at 6:30 PM. Sessions start at 8:30 AM on Thursday with a short welcome session. General sessions will begin at 9 AM. The convention will end on Saturday around 5 PM.
