Checking in from the Savannah College of Art and Design

Howdy, y’all!

That was what welcomed me to Texas. A giant sign in the Austin airport, pretty much saying “Hey. If you didn’t know, you’re not in Savannah.”

Our flight went well, a little delayed but it was a welcome respite from work and not sleeping.

At this point I should probably introduce myself. I’m Caila Brown, General Manager of SCAD Radio, Savannah and a junior at the Savannah College of Art and Design majoring in Graphic Design. I’m tall, a red-head and from New York. So if you see me at the convention, say hi!

Now we’re sitting in the room, planning which sessions to attend and waiting to meet our advisor. I’m thinking of attending the following sessions: Sports Interviews, Urban Legends of Design, To Tweet or not to Tweet, Story Planning for Multiple Media and Marketing the college Station- but who knows! Comment back and let me know what you’re going to attend, or if you have any suggestions.
