As we have seen with all the chatter on the CBI listservs, the response to this year’s National Student Electronic Media Convention (NSEMC) has been incredible. That is true on the sponsors and exhibitors side of the convention as well.

Exhibit space for NSEMC 2014 has sold out! This year a record number of companies and individuals will be exhibiting at our trade show on Thursday, Oct. 23 and Friday, Oct. 24. There will be 18 vendors and many of the exhibitors are, as station sales people like to say, “new business,” meaning it is their first-time at the convention. In Seattle we will have a great mix of long-time CBI supporters and new friends. All NSEMC attendees are encouraged to check in with our exhibitors to learn about their products or services. And if you play Exhibitor Bingo, you will have a chance to win some prizes too!

I am pleased to note that Comrex has returned as a major sponsor of the convention. It is terrific that Comrex understands and supports the mission of CBI and the NSEMC.

You can see who many of our sponsors and exhibitors are for NSEMC 2014 by visiting http://askcbi.org/seattle/thanks-seattle-sponsors/. More folks are added to this site regularly. Suggestions for future exhibitors and sponsors are always welcome.

I am starting to get really excited about NSEMC-Seattle. Don’t forget that the early bird deadline for convention registration is October 1st.   I hope to see you in Seattle!
