Board Blog: Countdown to NSEMC 2015

new-boardblog-header

Like others around the country, my students and I are looking forward to this year’s National Student Electronic Media Convention (NSEMC) in Minneapolis. Since the NSEMC’s inception, this annual gathering of CBI members and others has proven to be one of the highlights of the year for students and advisers alike who attend this convention.

The feeling of excitement extends to NSEMC sponsors and exhibitors as well. So many of our exhibitors tell me at the end of each conference how exceptional their experience was. There is simply something special about their interactions with attendees that is unique to the NSEMC. As someone who has attended scores of conventions over the decades, I have to agree. The NSEMC experience is refreshing and insightful and gives those who have been in the business a while plenty of reasons to be enthusiastic about the future.

As we approach NSEMC 2015, I am pleased to report that exhibit space is almost sold out. So it is now “last call” for companies and individuals who wish to exhibit at our convention or become a NSEMC sponsor. More information can be found at the convention website or by emailing development@askcbi.org.

At this year’s trade show attendees will discover new exhibitors as well as old friends. Everyone at the NSEMC is encouraged to visit with our exhibitors to learn about their products or services. You can check out who many of our sponsors and exhibitors are for NSEMC 2015 here (please add link Jessica!). More folks are added to this site regularly. Suggestions for future exhibitors and sponsors are always welcome at development@askcbi.org.

Finally, don’t forget that the early-bird deadline for convention registration is October 1st. I am looking forward to seeing you in Minneapolis next month!
