mtvU’s crew arrived on the Ithaca College campus on Nov. 7 to present the award to the WICB crew and record an acceptance speech. The mtvU Woodie Awards will be broadcast live on mtvU and mtvu.com on November 19 at 8 p.m.

“It’s a thrill for us to win the first-ever Woodie for best college radio station. I am so proud of our entire staff,” said WICB General Manager Chris Wheatley.

92 WICB is a student-operated, 4,100-watt FM station that serves Tompkins County and beyond, reaching from northern Pennsylvania to Lake Ontario, with a potential audience of over 250,000.
