KVRX is the UT radio station and part of Texas Student Media.  This article portrays a bleak future for not only KVRX, but student media in general as KVRX is part of a bigger picture as the article describes.

The KVRX losses are only 10% of its revenue, but when coupled with the losses attributed to other media in the corporation, that number may seem overwhelming.  Will the revenue losses in student print media kill the radio and TV stations?

It is relatively rare for student media, which includes radio and TV to be independently incorporated.  Should KVRX and TSTV seek to become a separate entity from the print side?  The numbers in the article would suggest that independently, these two would be solvent.
