WBCX – Brenau radio begins streaming online

According to the Gainsville Times, WBCX has started webcasting.  The article does indicate that the station has received funding from NPR, but it is not clear how much programming is from NPR and how much is student/community oriented.  If the article is correct and the station is NPR/CPB funded, then its webcasting operations are likely covered under the CPB/NPR/SX agreement which likely requires server and programming logs.  If the station is not CBP eligible, then WBCX may be able to use the CBI/SX WSA 2009 settlement to avoid strict logging requirements.  If your station has questions about webcasting fees, logging requirements or anything else, contact CBI!
