Housing deadline for Summer College Media Megaworkshop is June 22
Joining us in Minneapolis for the Radio Management Track of the 2018 summer College Media Megaworkshop July 12-15? The housing deadline is approaching if you want to stay in the university residence halls. Registration and reservations are open on the Megaworkshop website.
KMHD2 Plans Hoodstock – a new indie music festival
Devin Hardgrove, Mt. Hood student and music director of KMHD2, the college’s radio station, is putting together a music festival in an effort to bring a reliably great, affordable, all-ages music festival to the Gresham area.
Hoodstock will be held on Saturday, Sept. 22 at MHCC’s Earl Klapstein football/track and field stadium, and is set to be free for students and staff, and somewhere around $15 for the public.

Bonnaroo 2018: MTSU radio stations creating special content from ‘Radio Roo’
MTSU’s low-watt, but high-spirit, student radio station, WMTS, joined its big sister, the 100,000-watt Americana public radio giant WMOT, in working from Radio Roo, the makeshift set of broadcast studios set up for live broadcasts and reporters working on taped packages.
