Stillman College freshman lays groundwork for Web-based radio station

When Stillman College’s WSTL The Den begins broadcasting early next year, it will mark the return of student radio to the campus after a 10-year hiatus.
While the Internet-based station will offer a new source of music, sports, topical discussions and news, the student and college officials behind the launch hope it will also strengthen the private school’s sense of community.
“It builds the student life, and I think it adds a sense of community,” said Vi’Dual Futch, the freshman behind the new station.
