Online Content Specialist
Reporting directly to the Executive Producer, Online, the full-time WTNH/WCTX Online Content Specialist will write and edit stories for WTNH.com and associated microsites.
The job duties include editing broadcast copy for print and posting it on the website, writing breaking news stories, posting still images and videos, posting material to social networking sites and other related tasks. Will teach you how to use their CMS and web- based tools to get the job done. Ability to hit deadlines is a must. Nights and weekends required.
Previous experience working in a newsroom and writing in a web/print style is preferred. Qualified candidates will have a college degree, strong writing, communication and organizational skills. Photoshop and/or Final Cut Express knowledge a plus.
