There will be one more bright light on Broadway March 12-15 shining from the NYC Spring College Media Convention! For a list of broadcast sessions and speakers, visit the CBI sessions page. A full list of sessions, which include print oriented media is available at CMA site, our convention partners. If you want to learn more about how to move your career in media ahead, learn skills from professionals in the #1 market, use of social media, keep your station legal or information about webcasting, this is the place for you!
For those in NYC for another event, you can attend the College Media Convention on Sunday for free! This is an extremely limited offer. Come sample our sessions and visit with our members to learn more about CBI and CMA. All you need to do is to email nyc11@askcbi.org before this space limited offer runs out to learn if you qualify for free admission on Sunday.
For general convention information, including registration and hotel rates, visit the CBI 2011 NYC College Media Convention page, which contains a link to the CMA convention page with information on print oriented sessions.
For the first time ever at a Spring convention, CBI is offering a pre-convention workshop – FCC 101. Learn the basics needed to keep your FCC licensed Radio Station in compliance with FCC rules. This is an introductory course for those who aren’t quite sure they are covering all the basics. Learn more here.
