KCOU Funding Transition Discussed – KJHK Mentioned

As posted here,  the Missouri Students Association has decided to cease funding KCOU by 20% per year over the next five years.  At this point, the station will need to be completely self-funded.  The Missourian article reports on the planned transition and the concerns the station has, including whether to hire an adviser.  Some comparisons are made to the the KU station, KJHK.  One of the items to be noted in the article is that one of the reasons for the transition at KCOU is the pervceived value that the station presents to students.
