Trinity University’s Division of External Affairs and KRTU-FM, San Antonio, seek a dynamic individual for the position of KRTU Membership Coordinator.  KRTU is a non-commercial jazz and alternative rock station run by a professional staff, community volunteers, and students. The mission of KRTU-FM is to support and enhance the academic curriculum and to advance Trinity University’s leadership in the fine arts.

Responsibilities:

The Membership Coordinator is overseen by the Office of Annual Giving and is responsible for fundraising for KRTU-FM through coordinating fund drives, maintaining and renewing established membership base, managing mid- and major level giving, and completing grant writing and special project funding requests as needed. The Membership Coordinator is also responsible for membership event planning as it relates to established KRTU fundraising goals, and works with students, volunteers, and staff to meet membership and fundraising goals.

Specific Duties:

  1. Develops, revises, and implements strategic fundraising plan.
  2. Oversees and coordinates the station’s fund drives.
  3. Oversees and coordinates membership outreach and cultivation.
  4. Oversees, coordinates and executes the station’s membership event planning (e.g., concerts and membership dinners).
  5. Works on special fundraising or stewardship projects.
  6. Works cooperatively and collaboratively with other employees in the spirit of teamwork and collegiality and complies with all Trinity University policies and guidelines.

Qualifications: 

Must have a college degree and knowledge of development. Must be able to train and supervise students in development activities. Ideal candidate will have two or more years of experience in fundraising. Experience with membership fundraising a plus. This position requires a self starter with strong written and oral communication skills, as well as exceptional organizational skills in coordinating and developing programs and activities with and for volunteers.

Salary Range:

$30,000-$35,000 plus a generous benefits package.
