ROMEOVILLE — Lewis University’s WLRA-FM 88.1 was added to iHeartRadio, Clear Channel’s free, digital radio service that combines more than 900 broadcast radio and digital-only stations from 150 cities plus the ability to create custom radio stations, delivering listeners everything they want all in one fully integrated service.
Lewis is the 15th college radio station to be added to iHeartRadio.
“WLRA has always been a leader in college radio and will continue to expand our broadcasting abilities as the technology develops. We were the first all-digital college radio station in the nation and our early addition to iHeartRadio is the latest initiative that benefits our student body,” said John Carey, director of the Andrew Broadcast Center at Lewis University.
