CBI Board Nominations

CBI is accepting nominations for three board positions up for election: Secretary, Development and our Student Representative. The first two will start their three year term in December, 2020. The student rep begins serving a one-year term in May, 2020. You may nominate yourself or someone else. If you nominate someone else, we ask that you talk with them before submitting their name. Send nominations to elections@askcbi.org. Nominations close December 20.

As a member of CBI, you’ve had some awesome ideas to help improve the organization. This is a great way for you to present those ideas and help guide us to even greater things.

Full descriptions of all board positions are in the CBI Bylaws.

Here’s a brief description of the positions up for election:

Secretary: Records and distributes minutes of all board and membership meetings, oversees registration for NSEMC, and maintains membership database.

Development Director: Secures sponsors and exhibitors for NSEMC and other CBI initiatives. The Development Director earns commission on the sponsorships sold.

Student Representative: Works with IT Content Director to develop content for CBI website and other platforms. Work with the board on the NSEMC.
