Glenn Schuck
I am a 1985 graduate of Seton Hall University, where I served as Station Manager and News Director  at WSOU-FM during my tenure. To this day I remain actively involved in WSOU, as Professional in Residence and member of both the WSOU Advisory Board and the WSOU Hall of Fame Committees.  My radio career has spanned more than three decades, including the last 20 as an anchor and reporter at America’s most listened to all news radio station, 1010 WINS.  I also mentor students at Ramsey High School (my alma mater) in New Jersey.  I look forward to bring my passion for broadcast journalism and mentoring to the CBI board.

Candidate Statements: Development Director (unopposed)

Lynn Riggle
Lynn Riggle is seeking re-election as CBI Development Director. She is the co-advisor to Raider Student Media at the University of Mount Union in Alliance, Ohio.  She manages the board of directors for Raider Student Media as well as teaching a class focusing on radio history and audio production and day-to-day operations of the radio station, newspaper and online video channel.  Riggle also handles marketing for the Visual and Performing Arts at Mount Union and oversees the box office.  Prior to her time at Mount Union, Riggle worked at WDPN-WDJQ Radio in Alliance, Ohio for 14 years where she worked on-air, sales, production, programming and marketing.  Riggle is a Kent State University graduate with a BA in Broadcast Journalism.

Candidate Statements: Student Representative (unopposed)

Laura Mooney
I am the General Manager of NC State’s radio station WKNC and enjoy being able to engage with the community of the Triangle. As a DJ I operate WKNC’s long-standing local music showcase and interview series, the Local Beat. Outside of the station I run my own booking network and work with artists across the country to set up events within North Carolina. If elected, I will use my community-oriented mindset to expand the relationships between college radio stations and underscore the importance of our influence in media broadcasting. We have the honor of selecting and promoting information and artistry to our audiences and must be aware of these impacts. Being the Student Representative of CBI would allow me to advocate for responsible broadcasting and to work towards greater diversity in college media. I would be proud to uphold this responsibility for the 2020-21 academic year.
