College and noncommercial radio remain the most respected means to stay connected to the local communities you represent. Over the last 18 months, that connection has proven even more crucial but also more difficult to achieve. New remote and hybrid approaches continue to show how it’s often demanding and elusive to navigate the always evolving ways your station can maintain great relationships with labels, promoters and the artists themselves. During this session, industry veterans will discuss the best strategies and ways of approaching outside partners to cultivate that relationship. With data, promotions, charts and other tools available to every station, we’ll explore how to get what you need from the music industry and how to make sure you can showcase the real strengths of all you do at your station, on-air and beyond.
