CBI’s annual National Student Electronic Media Convention is coming to Seattle for 2014! Join us at the Renaissance Seattle Oct. 23-25, 2014 to share knowledge with peers and learn from professionals in broadcasting.

The convention is a fantastic experience for students, advisers and managers. There are more than 100 sessions and events over three days where you can learn, share and network with students, professionals, advisers, lawyers, engineers and more who can help you develop your leadership skills, advance your career, further your education and have a lot of fun! To put it bluntly, this is a life opportunity whether or not you plan a career in broadcasting. The focus is on developing your media outlet, but the lessons learned reach far beyond.  All of this is a great city with lots of fun and opportunities to explore music history and culture.

CBI has been doing conventions since 1998 with others, and in 2012 decided that it could do more and is doing more by doing a convention solely dedicated to your needs.  This was a HUGE opportunity for CBI — as this is a major financial commitment — but the results were astounding. CBI not only produced a better convention experience for attendees, it also proved to be a successful venture which is supported by members and allowed us to bring the 2014 convention to the west coast.

If you love your station, you owe it to yourself and your station to participate in this great annual event.
